*This jailbreak works on all devices other than the first gen iPhone (metal back) and firmwares 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, and 4.0.1.
* You may have to try the process many times before you get it to work, just try turning your device on and off.
* If you continue having issues it may work better if you are upgraded to the 4.0 firmware.

To make sure you don't have issues with the jailbreaking I recommend you to have your iPod Touch or iPhone on 4.0 or 4.0.1 Firmware.

To Restore the Firmware 4.0 Go to iTunes (make sure you have the latest), with your iPod Touch or iPhone connected, press Shift + Restore and look for your Firmware Example : "iPod2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ipsw" and select it.
WARNING: Restoring your iPod or Iphone will erase all your music and stuff :/.
get DiskAid to pass all your music or files to your computer http://www.digidna.net/products/diskaid
After that go to: http://jailbreakme.com/ from your Ipod Touch or Iphone and Slide to Jailbreak :).
